There’s also a chat with the VMA-winning editor of Young Thug’s “Wyclef Jean” video

During last night’s episode of “The Best Show,” Tom Scharpling was taking calls from listeners when something unexpected happened—David Crosby phoned in. During the call, Crosby talked about his new album Sky Trails, his days in the Byrds, how he wishes he could go back to school, and that time he was conned into buying oregano instead of marijuana. Listen to their conversation herearound the 11:40 mark. It’s been a big summer for “The Best Show,” which recently hosted James Murphy for a three-hour conversation, featured a goofy appearance from Kurt Vile, and received a surprise (and unsurprisingly crass) phone call from Andrew Dice Clay.

The latest “Best Show” also included a call from one of the editors behind Young Thug’s “Wyclef Jean” video. Eric Degliomini won the Best Editing VMA on Sunday night for his work on the clip (which only barely features Young Thug). As it turns out, Degliomini accepted his VMA while wearing a Massa’s Tavern shirt—the official merchandise of “Best Show” associate producer, A.P. Mike.
