Check out the band’s upcoming European tour dates
Metallica have announced a reissue of their iconic 1986 album Master of Puppets. The remastered reissue, originally released through Elektra Records, is out November 10 via the band’s label Blackened Recordings. The expanded edition comes with previously unreleased demos, rough mixes, live tracks, band interviews, and a 28-page booklet. Master of Puppets’ limited edition deluxe box set comes with a 108-page hardcover book with never-before-seen photos, unreleased interviews, a folder with handwritten lyrics, and much more. Watch James Hetfield unbox the reissue below. Pre-orders, which are available on Metallica’s website, include an instant download of “Disposable Heroes (Remastered).” They’ve also announced a European tour—check out the dates here.
Metallica’s last full-length release was last year’s Hardwired…to Self-Destruct. Lars Ulrich recently penned the foreword of For the Sake of Heaviness: The History of Metal Blade Records, a new book that documents the metal label’s history and celebrates its 35th anniversary.
